Terms and Conditions

1. Payment Policy

​

At Buzz Media Productions, we strive to maintain a transparent and efficient payment process to ensure smooth project execution and high-quality results.

​

• All Clients: Full payment upfront is required to secure your booking and cover initial costs, such as equipment, travel, and time allocation. This enables us to focus on delivering the best possible results from the start. Once payment is received, we will confirm your booking and begin production preparations immediately.

​

Clients may choose to pre-book a service to secure a quoted rate, even if the exact date, time, or location of the project has not yet been confirmed. A pre-booking holds the agreed quote from the date of confirmation, subject to availability. Final details (including date, time, and location) must be agreed in writing before production can be scheduled. Pre-booking payments are non-refundable if the client later decides not to proceed with the project, regardless of whether a date has been confirmed.

2. Client Responsibilities

​

It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that all necessary permissions have been acquired before any work takes place. This includes but is not limited to:

​

• Permissions for filming on location.

• The use of company names and logos.

• Compliance with any legal or copyright considerations.

 

By working with Buzz Media Productions, we assume that you have obtained these permissions and are fully authorised to proceed with the project.

3. Weather and Scheduling

​

If weather conditions are unsuitable for filming or outdoor events, we will work with you to reschedule to the next available date. Ensuring optimal conditions for capturing high-quality footage is a top priority.

​

4. Raw Footage

​

Raw footage is not included in the standard cost of any project. However, if you would like access to a folder containing raw, unedited footage, we can provide it for an additional fee of £10. Raw footage is not included with complimentary projects.

​

5. Project Delivery

​

Most videos and digital project files are delivered through a secure Google Drive folder. If your files are too large or if you prefer a physical copy, we can provide them on a USB flash drive. Additional fees may apply for USB delivery.

​

6. Editorial Changes

​

We have a simple process to ensure you are satisfied with the final product:

​

• You are entitled to three (3) free editorial changes. This is defined as one round of feedback involving up to 3 requested tweaks.

​

Each additional editorial change beyond this is priced at £50. Revisiting and reworking edits requires extra time and resources.​

​

All editorial change requests must be made within seven (7) days of delivery.

​

If editorial changes are requested, ownership of any edits prior to the request of editorial changes remain with Buzz Media Productions. Clients do not have permission to publish these intermediary edits.

​

Editorial changes are not included with complimentary projects.

​

7. Ownership and Usage Rights

​

Once the final payment has been made, the client will have full rights to the final product, as delivered. This includes using the original deliverable for marketing, social media, and other promotional purposes.

​

Any additional changes made by the client must be approved by us. We don’t permit our name to be linked to unapproved edits.

​

Buzz Media Productions reserves the right to use the final product for promotional purposes, including, but not limited to, showcasing it on our website and in our portfolio.

​

8. Rescheduling Policy

​

We understand that plans may change. If you need to reschedule, please inform us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your new preferred date.

​

Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the original date may incur additional fees.

​

9. Cancellation Policy

​

If you request to cancel the project, we will always discuss possible changes or rescheduling options with you. Any payments made up to the point of cancellation are non-refundable if you decide to proceed with the cancellation.

10. Behaviour and Attitude Towards the Production Team

 

Clients must maintain a professional and respectful attitude towards the production team throughout the duration of the project. Any behaviour that is disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful to the team or other participants may result in the termination of the project, with no refund of any payments made. We are committed to creating a positive and collaborative working environment, and we expect the same level of professionalism from all involved.

11. Drone Filming

​

If your project includes aerial filming using drone technology, please note the following:

​​​

• Weather Conditions: Aerial filming is highly weather-dependent. In the event of unsuitable weather (e.g., high winds, rain, low visibility), we reserve the right to postpone or reschedule the drone filming for safety reasons, which may incur additional costs.

• Safety and Compliance: We operate in compliance with UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations and will not carry out any aerial filming that violates these rules.

• Risks: While we take every precaution to ensure safe operation, aerial filming involves inherent risks, including but not limited to equipment malfunctions, flight restrictions, and environmental hazards. By agreeing to aerial filming, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

12. Live Multi-Cam Switcher Package

​

This package is a live-mixed, on-location filming setup, designed to deliver fast, affordable results with no post-production editing included.

​

• What’s Filmed is Final – The camera cuts made during the shoot are the final edit. No re-edits, re-shoots, or post-production changes are included.

• Zero Revisions Included – No changes can be made once filming is complete. This helps keep costs low and turnaround fast.

• Real Venues, Real Variables – We often film in active venues with real audiences. While we aim for a professional finish, live environments can introduce small, natural imperfections.

• No Backup Recordings – We do not record individual camera feeds. Only the live-switched mix from the shoot is delivered.

• Be Performance-Ready – There’s no post to fix mistakes. This setup is ideal for well-rehearsed performances ready to be captured.
